Access, hoisting and protection are planned with the building before anything is fabricated. Unit sizes are set so they can reach the floor through the available route, service elevator, hoist or window opening; which is a decision that has to happen at survey, not on delivery day.
Survey to delivery is typically six to ten weeks depending on the system, finish and glass package. Because everything is fabricated in Brooklyn rather than ordered from Europe, a remake or a late change is measured in days rather than months.
