Commercial window and curtain wall systems, fabricated in Brooklyn.
Vitraz supplies aluminum window, curtain wall and storefront packages for multi-family, hospitality, office and institutional projects across the Northeast. We fabricate locally, deliver to your programme, and hand finished units to your glazing subcontractor.
We're a fabricator, not a contractor. We don't bid your install, we don't carry a glazing crew, and we're not a competitor to the sub you already work with. We build the package and deliver it on your schedule.
Drawings, data, and a delivery date.
Shop drawings for approval
Fabrication drawings issued for review before anything is cut, so the architect signs off on what's actually being built.
Performance data with the bid
Thermal, acoustic and structural figures for the specified build-up, supplied with the quote rather than chased during submittals.
Delivery against your programme
Phased deliveries by floor, elevation or release, labelled by opening, so units arrive when the crew is ready for them, not months early.
Where these systems go.
Whether it's a twelve-unit conversion in Brooklyn or a full elevation on a new build, the package is engineered the same way and comes off the same floor.

Hover a marker on the cutaway
Each marker opens the detail for that part of the façade, the glazing build-up, the seals, the framing grid, and how it all ties back into the building structure.
Double-Pane Insulated Glass
Two panes of glass separated by a sealed insulating space help reduce heat transfer, improve interior comfort, and provide better acoustic performance than single glazing.
Glazing Seal & Pressure Cap
Gaskets create a tight seal around the glass, while the pressure cap secures the glazing to the aluminum framing and helps protect the system against air and water infiltration.
Thermal Break
An insulating barrier separates the interior and exterior portions of the aluminum frame, reducing thermal transfer through the metal and improving overall energy performance.
Aluminum Mullion & Transom
The vertical mullions and horizontal transoms form the structural grid of the façade, supporting the glass while creating the clean, consistent appearance of the curtain wall system.
Structural Anchor
Heavy-duty brackets connect the façade framing to the building structure, transferring wind and system loads back into the concrete or structural frame.
Storefront Framing System
The ground-level aluminum framing supports commercial entrance doors and large glazed panels, creating a durable, clean storefront that integrates with the larger façade system.
Windows, curtain wall, storefront.
Window systems
Tilt-and-turn, fixed and projected units in thermally broken aluminum, sized to the opening schedule.
Curtain wall
Stick-built aluminum glazing for full elevations, including hidden-sash systems where the elevation needs to read as uninterrupted glass.
Storefront and entrances
Ground-floor glazing and entrance systems built for commercial traffic.
Steel-look aluminum
Narrow-profile systems for landmark and industrial conversions where the original glazing was steel and the replacement still has to meet current energy code.
Built for the code you're building to.
New York's energy requirements are among the strictest in the country, and a window package that can't demonstrate its performance is a package that holds up an approval. Every system we quote comes with the documentation the submittal needs.
The short version.
We'll price it against your drawings.
What project teams ask.
Yes. Send plans, elevations and a window schedule and we’ll return a line-by-line quote against your openings, with system recommendations and performance figures.
Yes, issued for approval before fabrication begins on commercial packages.
No, and on a commercial job that’s usually the point. We supply the package; your glazing subcontractor installs it. We’re not bidding against them.
Commercial packages vary with scope, finish and glazing. Local fabrication generally means a fraction of the ten to twelve weeks an imported system requires, talk to us early and we’ll give you a real date.
